Haira Farms began its journey in 1992 when U.M. Fazil and D.G.U. Akbar Ali started operations with a clear focus on delivering reliable, high-quality poultry products to Sri Lankan customers. Their commitment and hands-on involvement built the foundation of a company that continues to grow with integrity and consistency.

Today, U.M. Fazil serves as Chairman, and D.G.U. Akbar Ali leads the company as CEO, guiding Haira Farms with the same dedication and practical values that shaped its early years.

Over the decades, Haira Farms has expanded its operations across the entire island from North to South, East to West supplying fresh chicken to households, retailers, and food businesses. With more than 10 outlets in the Central Province, our presence continues to strengthen as we work to make quality poultry easily accessible to all our customers.

Now, Haira Farms is supported by a dedicated team of over 200 employees, working across our head office, processing plant, and outlets all contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the business.

Our focus is simple: to ensure freshness, cleanliness, and value in every product we deliver. From farm practices to processing and distribution, we follow strict quality standards, so our customers receive safe, wholesome, and great-tasting chicken every time.
